Bike to Work Wednesdays

BikeDenver, in partnership with the Downtown Denver Partnership and Sander Marketing, is a campaign to build on the success of Bike to Work Day and encourage more consistency and habit around Denver residents using bikes to commute to work.

Biking to work in Colorado is a tradition. CDOT has been promoting the event statewide for 25 years and in 1995 the Denver Regional Council of Governments began helping the Denver area cities and counties link their individual events together. Bike to Work Day is celebrated in many communities along the Front Range and in the mountains, but Denver's event is the largest in the state and the second largest in the country!

Bike Month is May each year nationally, but due to Colorado’s mountain communities and unpredictable weather, the state legislature declared June as Colorado Bike Month, with the fourth Wednesday of the month being Bike to Work Day.

Thank you for your support! BikeDenver relies on your generous membership contributions to make bicycling in Denver easy, safe, and fun for everyone. Your donation to BikeDenver is tax deductible.
